Today, Side by Side School held student elections in parallel with the UK General Elections, celebrating democracy and inclusivity. Our students filled out their own voter registration cards and voted for activities they're passionate about, demonstrating pupil voice and choice.

The school created a supportive environment, ensuring inclusivity was at the heart of the event. Special polling stations were set up for wheelchair users, and non-verbal students were accommodated with communication boards and eye-gaze technology.

This event promoted British values and SMSC development and highlighted the importance of every student's voice.
